In the digital age of manufacturing, data analytics plays a critical role in identifying process and cost optimization opportunities. A paper mill’s strategy for analyzing problems and implementing solutions can be key to gaining a competitive advantage. By identifying the correct analytical approach, mills can not only speed up the analysis, but also offer more tangible process insights.
The ideal journey through Papermaking Industry 4.0 begins with a strong understanding of mill process data and a solid digital strategy that is embraced by an agile, interdisciplinary company culture.
Attend this presentation to hear how Cydney Rechtin, Solenis’ data scientist, will review the analytical tools available to support the most common papermaking problems. She will provide guidance on how to define a problem analytically and how predictive analytics, such as OPTIX™ Applied Intelligence, creates a foundation for more advanced analyses including root cause diagnostics and closed loop predictive control for optimized raw material usage.
